Samantha lives in North Yorkshire with her husband and 2 children. After pursuing a career within the leisure sector, she decided that she needed a change and undertook several intensive training courses with Birthlight, the international acclaimed teacher training company. She is the only fully qualified Birthlight teacher in the Leeds area.
Samantha has been holding courses in the Leeds and York area for several years -
Jenny first started swimming for a local swimming club when she was 7 years old. She then progressed through the City of Leeds Swimming Squad where she spent 8 happy years doing what she loved and represented Leeds for 4 years running in the Nationals in Germany.
When Jenny became a Mum in January 2012 she wanted her son, James, to follow her dreams so when he was 12 weeks old she started taking him to Flutterbabies classes. She fell in love with the way babies took to the water and decided she wanted to become involved. Jenny is a fully qualified ASA and Birthlight Baby and Pre-
Francesca is a Mum to Daisy who is 3. Her professional background is counselling young people and before that office work. She has wanted to work with groups of parents and little ones for some time now as found the one to one work she had in the counselling setting quite lonely. She has done volunteering work in her local Children's Centre where along with Daisy she has enjoyed weekly stay and play sessions and made lots of friends. I am very excited about a future with Flutterbabies. I love the friendly environment, singing songs, playing together, having fun and watching children's confidence grow within a group and particularly around water which makes it a fun activity but also instilling knowledge and skills to keep them safe.
Paula has been a qualified Baby Massage & Baby Yoga Instructor since 2012. She lives with her husband, two boys and their dog in West Yorkshire. They all enjoy going to the coast to their caravan on weekends.
Paula was inspired to train as a Baby Massage/Yoga Instructor after a friend could not get onto a Baby Massage course because they were all full. Knowing how much she had enjoyed the one on one time and the benefits with her own two boys, she decided to look into how to become an Instructor. Paula really enjoys teaching the parents these new skills and seeing the benefits the babies and parents get from the sessions.
Sian qualified as a baby sign language teacher with Touch Learn International after having her first child and was looking for a career path that would help her spend more time with her son and meet other mums. She found baby signing a great way of communicating with her toddler Joshua and believes it is an amazing way to build bonds and empower our little ones. She is very excited to share this skill with other mums and babies. Sian lives with Joshua and her partner Matthew near Wakefield and works as a costumier and designer on theatre, film and television all over Yorkshire.
We are a local company with a passion for working with parents and babies and we are dedicated to supporting you throughout your sometimes hard, but amazing journey with your little one. Since 2007 we have taught hundreds of mums, dads, babies and toddlers the joy that comes from spending bonding time together.
We follow the Birthlight approach to Baby Yoga and Baby Swimming and the Baby Massage is RCM accredited and IICT approved. Our fun and nurturing classes focus on the development of your baby and are very relaxed, no one is under any pressure to join in if their baby isn't in the mood. All our teachers are parents themselves and totally understand how difficult it is sometimes when you feel it's always your baby who's crying.
"Both myself and my daughter love the swimming lessons. We've been attending for 6 months. She is so confident in the water now. The way the techniques are taught is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend. I've tried another swimming school and Flutterbabies is far superior."

"I have done baby Yoga and baby swimming with Flutterbabies, both have been brilliant and I would recommend the classes to anyone. We are just about to start our third term of swimming as my daughter and I love it so much. I also just got some great underwater photos done too which is a great bonus."

"I have just finished a baby yoga course with my baby boy at Mumspace at Mothercare, Crown Point. We had fun during the classes, learning lots of songs and routines that we have enjoyed doing at home too while also doing some exercises for the mums. Classes are very relaxed so no need I worry if baby is having a bad day or needs feeding. Also a good way to meet other mummies and babies (at Mothercare there is the added bonus of the cafe for a post-

We also like to create a real sense of community! At the beginning of your course you will receive a welcome pack which includes information on the classes, special offers and flyers from other companies which will help you to make choices about classes for you and your little one and quite often mums will move onto another course with the same group of people they have attended one of our classes with. We try to hold all our Baby Yoga and Baby Massage classes in buildings where there is a café so you can socialise before or after classes and discuss your lack of sleep amongst other things!
All of our classes follow a plan, but our fundamental ethos centres around
the fact that all babies develop at their own pace and therefore we are
flexible and adapt our lessons to ensure that we're going at a pace that
everyone feels happy and comfortable with.
